What SENZOIC stores

Your queue, liked songs, recent-play list, playlists, album edits, lyric offsets, stats, look and sound choices live in this browser. No account, sign-up, analytics or advertising cookies are used by SENZOIC.

What leaves your device

Search may pass through the SENZOIC backend you deploy to the YouTube Data API; it does not store your library or stats. If you add your own YouTube API key in Settings, that key is stored only in this browser and is sent only to googleapis.com — never to SENZOIC or its host. Playback and search use YouTube or public Piped / Invidious mirrors; iTunes and LRCLIB may be contacted for covers and lyrics. Those services can see your IP and requests. Listen-Together rooms and Friends use public PeerJS / MQTT relays with room and friend codes; friend messages are sealed with AES-GCM pair keys, but room playback messages travel unencrypted — treat room codes like passwords.

Rooms & friends

Room and friend codes work for anyone who holds them, so share them only with people you trust. Profile photos you pick are exchanged with your friends' devices on request, nothing more.

Terms of use

SENZOIC is a free, personal, as-is listening tool with no warranty. Streams and uploads belong to their owners on YouTube — please respect uploaders' rights and your local law. Backup exports are yours to keep and to move between your own devices.

Focus Mode
Focus ModeDistraction-free listening: only your queue, pasted links and playlists. Search and Liked songs are switched off.
Made for study sessions. While on: the search button opens only this settings panel (so you can always switch it off), the Liked tab disappears, double-tap liking is paused, and when your queue ends playback stops instead of curating new songs.
Share preview
SENZOIC's official home & preview worker (senzoic.pages.dev) is already built in — every shared link is short (?v=ID) and embeds the song's own cover art in Discord/WhatsApp/Telegram, on every device, with no setup. This field only exists to override it with your own worker: paste a URL here and it wins. Open <worker>/?v=ID&preview=1 to see exactly what crawlers see.
Search source
SENZOIC uses the official YouTube search API through its server when configured — that key stays on the server. You can also add your own YouTube Data API key below and search goes direct to YouTube from your device. Without either, public mirrors are used.
